So here's the result of last weekend's dye job, and it didn't turn out blue!
It's purple! Could someone please explain how a pale blue yarn and royal blue dye end up making a light greyish purple dyed yarn? I followed the instructions... Anyways, I'm not too annoyed or upset by this because the color intensity is about right, and it is a very close match to a color already present in the handpaint I'm trying to coordinate with. And the color turned out extremely even too, so it's all good.
Here's the progress shot of the Tara Stole. I'm quite pleased with it, and at this rate, I should be done in a month or two! The gift knitting is competing with this for my knitting time...
